Moved to A Suite

Today has been one of my better days as far as contractions go (knock on wood). While I have had some contractions, far less than the past few days. I really feel that the Lord has had a hand in helping me with these contractions. I will continue to put my faith in a loving God who I know will do what is not only right but best for Thomas and I. The CEO of the Hospital offered one of their suites to us today. It is a night and day difference than our last room. I liked the last room, it was just a bit small for us and our visitors. The suite has wood floors, more chairs for our visitors, the bathroom is much bigger, and much more space. It will help because my Mom is coming to stay with us, I would like her with me during the day when Thomas is at work. I am so happy I have made it through one more day with these little ones still inside cooking. I know everything will work out for the best.

  3. Hang in there!! We are routing for you. My name is Christina & had twins then triplets all within 2 years. I went through my triplet journey with Rachelle Wilkinson. We grew up together in the same ward. Anyway I sort of know what you are going through not to the same degree but it's amazing all of the people that work as instruments in His hands. I will forever have gratitude in my heart for all of the angels here on earth. I know you are already feeling that. He knows you.

You can do this. I know it can be a huge challenge. I can't wait to see those babies.

  4. Hurray! I'm so glad they gave you a suite. We got to see one on the hospital tour and they are so nice. Plus I think the spare bed is a little bigger too. I hope you have a good, uneventful day!

  5. Keep fighting to stay positive. The new room will give you a boost for a while, but you will eventually need to remember who you are and that the Lord has chosen you to be the mother of all these little ones.

  7. I was on bedrest with 3 of my babies. The last one was 13 1/3 weeks of total bedrest - back in 1986. I know it's hard to deal with. You just want to get up and mow the lawn or something!

The Lord is watching over you and loves you. Hang in there. :) Learn a new skill... with my first bedrest, I learned embroidery. With the 2nd, I taught myself to read crochet patterns and be able to make things for the baby. With Timmy... I worked on so many skills, and read many books... anything I could do while drugged up and laying on my left side!!

All 3 were born prematurely, but they are all grown up and 2 are dads themselves now, one is serving a mission.

  8. That's so awesome that they gave you a suite! It looks like an actual apartment rather than a hospital room. I hope it helps you enjoy your days more!

  9. That suite looks great! I'm glad you have more room and that your mom can come and stay with you. I thought about you this weekend when my husband and I were in Texas Children's with our 2 year old. He broke his leg Sunday night (why do these things always happen on the weekend!) and we ended up down there. I think with his follow-ups and my neurologist appt. I'm going to be tired of the Med Center by the end of the month. I hope things continue to stay stable and you are able to "cook" these kids until they are ready to come meet everyone. :-)

  12. Everyday I check your site and am always happy to read that you are still hanging on. I also lost twins last year because of an incompetent cervix and its just devastating. I just found out I'm pregnant again and my numbers are indicating twins again, so I will be in your shoes soon. Stay strong. . . I know God is watching over you.

  15. How fabulous! I know it really wears you out having to be in bed 24/7, but the new suite definitely improves your accomodations! Yay for one more day for the buns in the oven- praying and sending positive thoughts your way!!
