Media Blitz!

The past few days that we have been home, we have had a couple different media outlets come and pay us a visit here at home. Yesterday it was KPRC Channel 2 news at our home, and this afternoon we had Fox 26 News come to visit us as well. We continue to have strangers come up to us and say "we have been in their thoughts and prayers ever since we have seen you on the news". We are so grateful for good people who take the time to pray in our behalf. We have relied on those prayers many nights. Thanks again to all. Here are the interviews from the past few days.

  2. We will be praying for you and your sweet babies, here in Utah.

I will be calling the 6 temples closest to me (Bountiful, Ogden, Salt Lake, Jordan River, Logan, and Draper), and placing your names on the prayer rolls. (I gathered from a previous post that you are LDS?)

My blog is private, but my email address is mylj831@msn.com. Feel free to send me any other names you would like me to add.

  3. Hi

I'm one of the many people you don't know but heard of you during your pregnancy and have been checking in and praying for you all.

Thanks for sharing the videos. It is lovely to be able to hear you talk whereas previously you've just been a picture :)

One of my friends had a 1lb 1ozs little boy nearly 4 years ago. He spent 5-1/2 months in hospital but is now average weight for his age. Considering he used to have to be resuscitated a few times a day he's come so far and is the apple of his parents eye.

God Bless you both, the babies both here and in Heaven and please keep the posts coming as there is a whole world out there wishing you well.

    With a hug from Australia.

  9. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of two of your babies. What a blessing it is to know that you will see them again.
I am praying for your babies that are still here with you on Earth. The NICU journey is long and stressful but there are many friendships to be made and many things to learn.
It took us 5 years and 9 miscarriages before we had our first child. She came at 37 weeks but threatened to come much earlier. My younger two are NICU graudates and between the two we spent 9 weeks in the NICU. What a journey. There are ups and downs but so much love to share and many freindship to be made and so much to learn. Rely on Heavenly Father during this time. Stay positive for the babies who are here with you. I can't imagine how hard that is having lost two.
Know that there are many people praying for you and and your sweet family.

  10. Praying for all of you...so glad you are LDS and can have peace in knowing that 2 of the 6 are just fine.
We are amazed with you, grateful for the twitter updates so our prayers can be more specific. Hope ignorant people's comments don't ruin any moments for you. I hope you can be shielded from them.
Glad to know that so many people in so many temples and prayer groups are petitioning the Lord for you.

As a mother of 4, healing from another recent surgery...I especially pray for Amanda. I hope she is getting the rest she needs. When she is up, I hope she is patient with her temporary limitations. The body will heal, just never as fast as your heart desires!
    Love and prayers from Seattle,
    Rachel

  12. I heard about your story 2 weeks ago from some friends of mine who are in your ward. You all have been in my prayers. I will pray that your babies will continue to grow. I was on bed rest with my twins last summer at Women's. They were born August 4th :) The APU and NICU staff there are so wonderful, aren't they? Good luck!
