Pumpkin Patch

We went to a local pumpkin patch Saturday to pick out a pumpkin for Halloween.  The small field was full of pumpkins. The rich orange color of all the pumpkins was beautiful and it made it feel just a little more like Autumn here in Houston even though it was sunny and in the high 80's.
This was the girls first trip to a pumpkin patch.  They enjoyed it.  Rachel definitely checked out the pumpkins.  She looks at everything in detail.  Haley used her hands to get a better feel for them and Kayla just enjoyed watching her sisters go wild.

Here are the pictures of our adventure at the pumpkin patch:

This one makes me laugh!  My Girls!
They didn't want to cooperate for this picture.  At least I got one with my girls.

Rachel wearing daddy's sunglasses.  Only thing we could do to get her to sit still for the picture.

  2. Amanda, what lovely photos (again) you take such a good picture. And the girls happy personalities are really shining through - the one with you and the three of them is a very natural shot. Hope you had a good time.

  5. Halloween is such a fun time for kids and your little girls will have some great memories of the fun- can't wait to see their costumes! Autumn is a beautiful season- you captured it well in these photos.

Two (nosy) questions! Do the girls always dress alike, and do the older two still wear glasses? Thanks!

    1. Hi Ellie, I don't mind answering any questions. I don't always dress the girls alike. Most of the time they are dressed different. When I take pictures of them, I enjoy dressing them alike when I can. Rachel does wear glasses, we just forgot to put them on her before going to the pumpkin patch. Oopps! Haley is going to get a contact lens for her right eye so we are waiting on that. Stay tuned for pictures of the girls in their costumes! Thanks!

  7. Great Pumpkin Pics! I make your tortilla soup recipe all the time-just wondering if you have any other fall recipes for your family that you could share on your blog? Also wondering if you have looked into getting a cane for Haley to help her get around, I know they have toddler size ones that can be really helpful. If you look on youtube you can see some kids her age using them. Thanks for all your great blogs, I have been following since the beginning and always enjoy reading your posts!
