Visit to the Houston Rodeo

Sorry for the absence and lack of blog posts. I didn't really have anything the past couple of weeks to blog about plus I have been busy with some photo shoots and lots of picture editing.

The Houston Rodeo and carnival is a big thing here in Houston. We finally made it this year (March 21) a couple of days before the end of it. We enjoyed the food, sights and sounds! The girls saw some of the animals (Kayla didn't like the animals) and watched the pig races. At one of the pig races, Haley was chosen to be the team leader for our section of the bleachers. We were the section cheering on the pig with the orange bandanna and the orange pig won!!! Haley won a prize (plastic pig nose) for that race. Fun times!

Awesome pictures! Looks like they had a lot of fun. I love Haley rooting for the orange team pig, and Rachel with her piggy nose. Kayla looks so cute in her cowgirl boots!

About Us

Thomas and I were married in January 2007 in Houston, Texas. About 8 months later, we were excited to start a family. After a diagnosis of infertility due to PCOS and endometriosis, we were devastated. With the help of infertility treatments we were blessed with twin boys (Brian and Brendan), but unfortunately lost them at 18 weeks due to an incompetent cervix. Unwilling to give up on our dream to have a family, we tried again, but our second try resulted in an ectopic pregnancy. On our third try we were surprisingly expecting sextuplets. On August 4, 2009 at 22 weeks 6 days, we welcomed 4 girls and 2 boys - Haley, Braden, Dallin, Ashlyn, Rachel and Kaitlyn. Our sweet angels Braden, Dallin, Ashlyn and Kaitlyn passed away and returned to our loving Heavenly Father. We have been so blessed to have Haley and Rachel at home with us. They have been home from the NICU since February 2010. They are doing well and growing. They are miracles! We love them and have been so blessed!

We have been so blessed to have added another miracle baby to our family. Kayla was born December 9, 2011. She was born at 36 weeks, 5 days. She is a precious miracle and we are so glad she joined our family.

Our last little miracle, Brandon Thomas joined our family on December 14, 2015. He was born at 36 weeks, 5 days. He was 9 pounds, 7 oz (big boy)! He has spina bifida, but he is doing well. He is such a happy boy!! We love our little boy and are so blessed to have him in our family.
