Easter 2012

For Easter this year we ventured out of Houston and took our first trip to Austin with all three girls. It took a lot of planing and packing when it was just Rachel and Haley, but with the addition of Kayla it required even more planing and packing. I couldn't believe how much stuff I had to pack for all 3 of them. Good thing we have a minivan! It was nice to get out and visit with our families. We had a good time and wished we could have stayed longer. Too bad though that Rachel and Haley had nasty colds. They sure had snotty noses. My poor girls!

On Saturday (day before Easter) we joined Thomas's family for a big Easter egg hunt for all the kids. Rachel and Haley didn't quite understand the concept of hunting for eggs, but they sure did enjoy putting those plastic eggs in their mouths!

We spent the day with my parents on Easter. Rachel, Haley and Kayla had fun with Grandma and Grandpa. They also enjoyed playing with those Easter eggs.

Happy Easter to the Stansel family from here in the UK. Lovely photos, the girls seem to be having a great time with their eggs! Love the one with Haley wearing her Easter Basket hat. Enjoy the Easter break.x

About Us

Thomas and I were married in January 2007 in Houston, Texas. About 8 months later, we were excited to start a family. After a diagnosis of infertility due to PCOS and endometriosis, we were devastated. With the help of infertility treatments we were blessed with twin boys (Brian and Brendan), but unfortunately lost them at 18 weeks due to an incompetent cervix. Unwilling to give up on our dream to have a family, we tried again, but our second try resulted in an ectopic pregnancy. On our third try we were surprisingly expecting sextuplets. On August 4, 2009 at 22 weeks 6 days, we welcomed 4 girls and 2 boys - Haley, Braden, Dallin, Ashlyn, Rachel and Kaitlyn. Our sweet angels Braden, Dallin, Ashlyn and Kaitlyn passed away and returned to our loving Heavenly Father. We have been so blessed to have Haley and Rachel at home with us. They have been home from the NICU since February 2010. They are doing well and growing. They are miracles! We love them and have been so blessed!

We have been so blessed to have added another miracle baby to our family. Kayla was born December 9, 2011. She was born at 36 weeks, 5 days. She is a precious miracle and we are so glad she joined our family.

Our last little miracle, Brandon Thomas joined our family on December 14, 2015. He was born at 36 weeks, 5 days. He was 9 pounds, 7 oz (big boy)! He has spina bifida, but he is doing well. He is such a happy boy!! We love our little boy and are so blessed to have him in our family.
