Visit with Santa

The girls got to sit on Santa's lap for the first time today.  We found Santa at REI (outdoor sports store) and had the opportunity to take a picture with Haley and Rachel on his lap.  I was so surprised that they didn't seem to mind Santa at all.  I thought that at least Rachel would get upset and cry, but she didn't.  When I was about their age many years ago, I got upset on Santa's lap.  I'm so proud of them.  They did so good.  It's so wonderful to have the girls home with us this Christmas.

  2. That's great! My micropreemies were similarly comfortable with strange adults from a small age. I credited it to the large # of doctors and nurses and therapists they'd seen ... many more interactions with adults than with other children.
